BRECKS STORY

The Murder of Breck Bednar took place on 17 February, 2014, at a flat on Rosebery Road in Grays, Essex, England. Bednar, a 14-year-old boy from Caterham, Surrey, was killed by 18-year-old Lewis Daynes. Bednar knew Daynes only through online gaming and had never met him in person until he visited Daynes’s flat on the day of the murder.[1] Daynes pleaded guilty to the crime, and was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 25 years.
